Officials Keep Silent about Protests of Judokas
The Judo Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports did not react to the protest of judokas on August 17.
Recall that the members of the youth national team in judo held a protest near the metro station Koroglu. The reason for this was the refusal of the Judo Federation headed by the former Labor Minister Fizuli Alakbarov to fund the participation of the athletes in international competitions.
The protesters threatened to appeal to President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva.
Recall that during the first European Games in Baku in June, only one judoka of the 18 from Azerbaijan won a medal. -16D-

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
