May 20 at the initiative of the Swedish internet forum, active users of the Internet and social networks launched a campaign in support of their colleagues persecuted.
The campaign is using hash tags #InternetFreedom and #SIF14 .
The human rights activist Rasul Jafarov told Turan the country’s public is urged to actively participate in the campaign, reporting on the arrested and persecuted bloggers in the country.
Recall that at present Azerbaijan has at least 4 active bloggers behind the bars: Rashad Ramazanov, Elsevar Mursalli, Abdul Abilov and Omar Mamedov.
Such campaigns have been held for several years at the initiative of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The purpose of the campaign is to draw the world's attention to this issue. -03B-
