Opening direct flights between Baku and Warsaw
Baku/26.05.22/Turan: Direct air communication will open between Azerbaijan and Poland. The flights will be operated by the Polish airline LOT. The first flight from Warsaw to Baku will be on May 28. The flights will be operated 4 times a week, the press service of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC said today regarding the meeting of the head of this structure, Jahangir Askerov, with the chairman of the board of the LOT airline, Rafal Milczarski.
During the meeting, Askerov recalled that the fifth and seventh degrees of air freedom operate in all seven international airports of the country. These degrees offer foreign air carriers equal rights with Azerbaijani airlines and the opportunity to operate transit flights through Azerbaijani airports.
The head of LOT, Rafal Milcharski, noted the great interest in operating flights between Azerbaijan and Poland. According to him, the implementation of regular flights will serve as an impetus for the development of mutually beneficial interests of the two countries.—06B—
