Over nine months, the police seized 3 tons of drugs and 300 kg of psychotropic substances from circulation
Baku/14.11.22/Turan: Over nine months of this year, 3 tons of narcotic substances and more than 300 kg of psychotropic materials were seized from illegal circulation. The total value of the seized amounted to 40 million manat.
241 facts of the sale of narcotic drugs were established, more than 1 ton 400 kilograms of narcotic drugs were withdrawn from circulation.
Operatives neutralized 113 criminal groups consisting of 289 people.
This became known at a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs following the results of 9 months of this year. --03--

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
