Baku / 29.08.18 / Turan: The bedridden Nardaran resident Abulfaz Bunyadov has been transferred from the pre-trial detention center to the medical institution of the Penitentiary Service. This became known on August 28 during the trial at the Baku Court of Appeal.
The figure of this case is also Elkhan Iskenderov.
Bunyadov was detained during a special operation in Nardaran in November 2015 against the leader of the movement Muslim Unity Taleh Bagirzadeh and his associates. However, the measure of restraint was later changed to police supervision. Iskenderov was put on the wanted list and arrested a year later.
On July 11, the Baku Grave Crimes Court sentenced Bunyadov to 15 years in prison.
The paralyzed defendant was taken into custody in the courtroom and carried away on a stretcher.
Iskenderov was sentenced to 14 years in prison. They were found guilty of terrorism, an attempted violent change of power, and illegal possession of weapons.
On August 28, at the preliminary hearing of the Baku Appeals Court, the defense's requests for a partial re-trial, the transfer of the accused for house arrest, interrogation as witnesses of other convicts in the Nardaran events and Kerim Alimardanov, head of the MIA Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, who headed the police in the Nardaran operation, were not satisfied.
The hearing is essentially scheduled for September 11.
Bunyadov's relatives reported he was first held in the remand center. However, realizing that it is impossible to keep a seriously ill man there, he was transferred to the medical institution of the penitentiary service. -06D-

Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
