The leader of the Muslim community of Azerbaijan Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazadeh called for a religious TV channel in the country.
Speaking at an event dedicated to the start of Maharram mourning, he said he spoke on this subject with President Ilham Aliyev.
‘I said on the practice in European countries. Such a channel would also be useful for us,’ said Sheikh and already offered to open religious courses for future journalists of the channel. -05C-
