Baku / 24.07.20 / Turan: Over the past day, 332 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan; 573 people recovered, 9 people died, according to the message of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
To date, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the country is 29 312 cases, 21 547 recovered, 400 people died.
Today, 7,365 people continue to be treated in hospitals.
During the day, 9,037 tests were carried out in the country, and in total - 667,819.-02D-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads. Efforts to extinguish the fire are still ongoing.
