“Pfizer” vaccine will be used in Azerbaijan since June 7
Baku/04.06.21/Turan: On June 7, the “Pfizer” vaccine will be used in Azerbaijan, a joint message of the Ministry of Health, the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance and the Joint Administration of Territorial Medical Units.
“Pfizer” vaccinations will begin at the Baku Health Center and Central Clinical Hospital. Vaccinations can be received by persons over 18 years of age, who are not contraindicated.
Vaccination in Azerbaijan began on January 18. According to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, to date, 2 million 253 thousand 216 doses of vaccines have been introduced.
The first dose was received by 1 million 352 thousand 958 people, both doses were 900 258.
Until now, the Chinese drug “Sinovac” was used in Azerbaijan, later the Russian "Sputnik-V" and a small batch of “Astrazeneca” were bought.-16D-
