Baku/20.03.21/Turan: A member of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) was arrested in administrative order. He was detained by the police at his home in Ganja on the evening of March 17. On Friday, the Kapaz District Court sentenced him to 30 days of administrative arrest, the party said. What offense is charged is still unknown.
The party believes that the real reason for the arrest of Hajiyev was his posts on Facebook. “He sharply criticized the country's leadership. Earlier, on January 20, he was detained by the police and arrested for 25 days under article 535.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (not subordinate to the police).
