PFPA Activist Arrested for 30 Days
Baku / 25.06.19 / Turan: By the decision of the Yasamal District Court of Baku on June 25, the activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Eldaniz Agayev, was administratively arrested for 30 days.
Turan was told in the PFPA.
According to the same source, Agayev was taken away from his job on June 24.
However, a police report was drawn up against him regarding violation of Article 535.1 (not subordinating the police) of the Administrative Offenses Code.
"We can"t understand how a person in the workplace could disobey the police?" sources in the PFPA said.
The party indicated that Agayev was active on social networks and administrative arrest could be linked with his publications. -05B06--
