Police operation against drug traffickers in Agjabedi
Baku/06.03.22/uran: In the Agjabedi district, the police detained Elshan Agayev, a suspect in drug trafficking. In total, 17 people connected with drug trafficking and other crimes have been detained in this area in recent days.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the search at the place of residence of Agayev, 8 kg of heroin and 125 grams of methamphetamine were found and seized.
Agayev testified that he acquired drugs through an Iranian citizen, whom he met through social networks.
Agayev took the drugs from the place indicated by the Iranian in the Absheron district and delivered them to his home. He purchased drugs for the purpose of subsequent sale in Agjabedi and surrounding areas.
The police also detained another 15 people suspected of involvement in drug trafficking, revealing that they had about 10 kg of drugs of various types. ---03D06---
