Police Who Extended Video of Bus Collision with Austrian Athletes Fired
The policeman, who extended the video of a coach hitting Austrian athletes in the "Athletes’ village" on June 11, was fired from the Interior Ministry. This is stated in the press service of the Interior Ministry.
Recall that on June 11 in the "Village of the athletes' a service bus ran over three members of the Austrian team in synchronized swimming. Footage of the accident on June 12 was spread in social networks on the Internet and online media.
As a result of measures taken by the relevant structures of the Interior Ministry, it was found that one of the policemen of the Safe City service at the Nizami district police shot the accident’s video on his phone and sent it to his friend, who posted the video on the Internet.
The police officer was dismissed from the police. The investigation continues.
On June 13 the Interior Ministry and Prosecutor General's Office announced the arrest of the driver. -06D--
