Political Emigrant Announces Arrest of His Brother in Azerbaijan
Baku / 28.04.18 / Turan: Azerbaijani political emigrant Rashad Gurbanov, currently living in Europe, announced his brother's arrest in the city of Mingachevir.
Fuad Gurbanov was brutally beaten in the Mingachevir city police department, and he was demanded to offend his brother before the video camera.
"According to the latest information, my brother was arrested for 30 days and was sent to Ganja," Rashad Gurbanov stated on April 27.
Earlier on March 8, Rashad Gurbanov's brother-in-law Ilkin Guliyev was detained in Shaki. On charges of not subordinating the police, he was subjected to administrative arrest for 30 days.
Rashad Gurbanov states that the pressure on his relatives began after he took part in the protest action in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in France on March 2.
