Premiums of Azerbaijani Sportsmen to Exceed 8 Million Manats
Cash prizes totaling 8 million 5 thousand AZN will be distributed to Azerbaijani athletes and coaches who win medals at the European Games in Baku.
According to the decree of Ilham Aliyev, those who received gold medals have been allocated 3 million 450 thousand AZN, silver medalists - 1 million 895 thousand AZN, and bronze medalists - 2 million 660 thousand manats.
Total Azerbaijani athletes won 21 gold, 15 silver and 20 bronze medals.
Those who got the first place have been allocated 100 thousand manats from the head of state and another 50 thousand from the Olympic Committee of the country. The coaches of the winners have been allocated AZN 50 thousand from the President and 25,000 AZN from the Olympic Committee.
The winners of silver medals respectively receive 50,000 manats and 30,000 manats. Their coaches receive 40,000 manats and 15,000 manats.
The bronze medalists receive 30,000 and 20,000 manats and their coaches receive 15,000 and 10,000 manats. -03D04-
