The official and pro-governmental press writes about hearings of the situation in Azerbaijan at the Helsinki Commission in Washington. The Azerbaijani officials accuse the National Council members of betrayal of Azerbaijan’s interests.

 

Azadlig daily re-printed the story from Turkish Hurriyet newspaper that Anar Mammadov, son of Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov, has bought an island in the Mediterranean Sea for $40 million.
