The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the development of cotton growing in the country, because it is always in demand, and it is a strategic commodity. In 2016, about 90,000 tons of cotton was harvested. In 2017, compared to 2015, it was collected by 7.5 times more.
This year, cotton is sown in 22 districts of the country. For each ton of cotton, depending on its grade, it is planned to pay 100-110 manat.

And, strangely enough, these agencies pointed out that this was made possible by the current quotations on the oil market. By the way, Elman Rustamov again says there are no fundamental reasons for cheaper manat.
