Proceeds from the sale of paintings will be transferred to the needs of the children of Ukraine
Baku/31.05.22/Turan: Paintings by Azerbaijani artists have been sold, and the proceeds will be donated to the needs of Ukrainian children affected by Russian aggression, the owner of the Art Gallery, Leyla Khazari, told Turan.
More than 40 talented Azerbaijani artists joined the charity event initiated by the author of the project and TV journalist Shakir Eminbeyli, supported by the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
The artists put up their works for sale in order to transfer the proceeds to help Ukrainian children affected by the war, Turan was told from the Ukrainian embassy.
Leyla Khazari, the owner of the art salon, listed for Turan the names of the artists whose works were purchased at the exhibition: Rafail Aliyev, Yalchin Yakhyazade, Diana Aliyeva, Roza Muradova, Ruslan Rustamov, Rauf Shamilzade.
Images of the unsold paintings will be posted on a special site where you can view the work and purchase the painting, she said.
The site was made by the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan. The Embassy will open a bank account, into which the proceeds from the charity sale will be transferred - over 2,500 manats.
The ten-day charity event of Azerbaijani artists "Children of War" was held from May 18 to 28, arousing great interest among the creative intelligentsia. –0—
