Prosecutor Asks to Sentence Former Navy Commander to Thirteen Years
The Military Court continued the trial of the former commander of the Navy of Azerbaijan, Vice Admiral Shahin Sultanov. Today at the trial the prosecutor asked to sentence Sultanov to 13 years in prison. The trial will continue on 13 January.
Recall that the former commander is accused of forgery, misappropriation and embezzlement.
Despite many serious allegations, the measure of restraint against Sultanov is house arrest. He was detained on April 24, 2014. -16B-
