Public transport will start operating in Baku on Saturday
Baku/07.06.21/Turan: Owing to the holding of the European Football Championship group stage match between Switzerland and Wales on June 12 in Baku, shuttle buses and metro will operate in the capital of Azerbaijan on Saturday, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.
It should be remembered that due to the coronavirus pandemic and terms of the special quarantine regime, the public transport in the country does not work on weekends.
The exception on June 12 was made due to the football tournament.—06D--

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
