Rally in Support of Murtuza Muradpour in Baku
The group of youth activists in Baku held an event in support of the persecuted in Iran Murtuza Muradpour - a fighter for the rights of ethnic Azerbaijanis in Iran.
As stated in the report of the Congress of World Azerbaijanis, Muradpour was arrested two years ago for his struggle for the Azerbaijanis’ education in their native language.
He also criticized the Iranian authorities for their failure to act in connection with the drying up of Lake Urmia.
Muradpour is contained in a prison in Karaj, and is already 58 days on hunger strike, demanding release. During the hunger strike he has lost 44 kg.
During the conference the activists on the Internet contacted the brother of the arrested Fardeen Muradpour. He said the state of the arrested deteriorated and he refuses to stop the hunger strike. -03D-

The aircraft's avionics resumed normal functioning only after leaving Astrakhan’s airspace.
