Religious Community Deregistered
The organization "Religious Community of the Khirdalan settlement of the Absheron district" was deregistered. The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations advised Turan that the registration was revoked because of a complaint.
This entity was recorded by the Ministry of Justice on July 9, 2004. Under the changes and amendments to the law on "Freedom of Religion" in 2009, previously registered religious organizations had until January 1, 2010 to apply for registration in the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations.
However, the above-mentioned entity did not meet the deadline to file the documents. In this regard, the State Committee appealed to the Administrative Economic Court of the Sumgait city, which granted the petition.
Turan could not get a comment from a representative of the community. It is known that it is an Islamic community. -05B06-
