Religious literature is confiscated
The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations held jointly with the Interior Ministry in the Sabunchu, Nizamy, Nasimi, Khatai and Surakhani districts of the capital of the raids, in which shops were checked, selling religious literature. The press release of the departments said that eight of the tested stores did not have the appropriate expertise for the sale of religious literature and objects. In addition, were revealed 421 units of religious literature, 13 DVD and 5 CD of the State Committee without a corresponding mark, certificate for sale. These books and DVD were seized. Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
