Restrictions on Baku Roads Imposed by European Festival
Baku / 07.07.19 / Turan: The Baku Traffic Police Department imposed traffic restrictions on the streets and avenues of the capital in connection with the Baku 2019 European Youth Olympic Festival held in the city.
Thus, during the competition, which will be held July 21-28, traffic on the yellow (separation) lanes will be allowed only for vehicles that have a special permit. Therefore, drivers are advised not to follow these lanes.
The yellow lane strips drawn on Ziya Bunyadov, Gara Garayev, Neftchilar, Ataturk, H. Aleskerov, Azadlig, Z. Aliyeva, Tbilisi, Moscow, U. Hajibeyov, R. Ismailov and other streets and avenues and the main thoroughfares are controlled by CCTV. The use of the indicated lanes without a permit is punishable.
The traffic police recommend that drivers and car owners use public transport for the duration of the competition to avoid traffic jams and traffic density. -06D--
