Results of Fight against Drug Trafficking Not Satisfactory - Interior Minister
Baku / 09.16.19 / Turan: The results of the fight against drug trafficking are not satisfactory, Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov admitted at a meeting of the board of the department on September 16.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Minister, noting that about 1 ton of drugs were seized in 8 months of this year, stressed that the results of activities in this direction are not satisfactory.
He noted the importance of strengthening anti-drug propaganda among young people in educational institutions, through the media and social networks.
Eyvazov also instructed to take the necessary measures to curb drug trafficking by criminal groups that use new methods - selling drugs via the Internet. -21C--
