Road from Lokbatan to Baku Closed until Evening
On Monday, the southern entrance to Baku on the outer ring road has been closed, reported the Ministry of Transport.
On the section of the ring road from the village Lokbatan to Baku work started on marking lanes for members of the European Games. The work on the layout will be completed by 17 p.m. the same day.
These lanes will be also laid on other routes of the city. The work began on 27 April and will be completed within 20 days.
A special lane 3.75 meters wide is marked by a yellow line and the asphalt is applied the logo of the European Games.
Traffic on the special lane will be controlled by the traffic police, and the movement of other vehicles on this lane will be limited.
The European Games will be held from 12 to 28 June 2015. -02D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
