Saakashvili stops visit to Baku because of the floods in western Georgia
Due to flooding in western Georgia, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili interrupted his visit to Baku on June 29, according to the press service of the presidential administration.
Heavy rain on Friday in the villages of Zugdidi region (the region of Samegrelo) on Friday, caused damage to roads and bridges. Seven villages are in very situation. Rescue workers and machinery have been mobilized to eliminate the effects of flooding in the region.
