School Year in Schools Extended by Two Weeks
Prime Minister Artur Rasizade signed an order about changes in the Charter of Schools. In accordance with this, the school year will cover the period from 15 September until 14 June.
The academic year is divided into two semesters: from September 15 to January 26 and from February 1 to June 14.
School holidays will be from 16 to 20 November, from 27 to 31 January, and from 9 to 13 April.
Primary classes will have additional vacation on May 1 to 5.
The Ministry of Education has been given the authority to make necessary changes in terms of the school year and holidays in the regions.
Recall that to date the school year in secondary school starts on September 15 and ends on 31 May. -03D-
