Second PFPA activist arrested in the city of Sheki over the past two days
The head of the youth organization of Sheki branch of the Popular Front Party Samir Hasanov has been arrested administratively by the decision of the local court to 23 days, according to the deputy chairman of the party Gezal Bayramli. She said that Hasanov was detained on February 7 when carrying food for the chairman of Shaki branch of PFPA Islam Hasanov, arrested previously.
"In police office he was subjected to physical pressure and forced to sign some papers, accused of resisting police. In the morning he was immediately taken to the court," said Bayramli.
The head of Sheki branch of PFPA Islam Hasanov was detained on 6 February, accused of insulting traffic police officer. On 7 February 7 court arrested him for 25 days.
The duty policeman in the Shaki regional police office told Turan, that he has no information about the detention of Samir Hasanov. -05В-
