Second Regional Internet Forum in Baku
2-3 December, as part of the conference-exhibition Bakutel-2014 Baku will host the second regional Internet forum: "The multilateral platform for cultural and economic development through ICT."
The forum is organized under the project: "Modernization of the sustainability and effectiveness of ICT infrastructure services in Azerbaijan." The project is implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and High Tech.
They told Turan in the Ministry of Communications the forum will discuss topics related to the transformation of management in the field of digital technologies, the empowerment of e-learning in the Eurasian space, innovations in ICT, their sustainable development and other topics.
The forum is expected performances by local and foreign experts and lawyers.
Last year, a similar forum was carried out by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs in collaboration with the representative of Azerbaijan to the United Nations, as well as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and Azerbaijan Internet Forum.
The main themes of the Forum are regional development of Internet, new trends and opportunities, social networks and social media, regional information security and cybercrime, Internet governance in Azerbaijan and others. -16D04-
