The Head of Caucasian Muslims, Allahshukur Pashazadeh spoke to the religious communities in Sheki . In his speech, he urged the faithful to unity and preventing split among Muslims.
Pashazadeh also called on the faithful to fight against religious movements and sects. Concerning the relationship between state and religion , Pashazadeh opposed the use of religion for personal and political purposes.
He also called on religious leaders to be careful taking into account the activity of religious sects in this region. In conclusion Pashazade called on "misguided " to return to the path of righteousness.
This region is one of the places where the number of Wahhabism supporters is high enough, and several times the supporters of this movement came into armed conflict with the authorities. -05B04-
