Smartphones banned in parliament
Since January 1, bringing smartphones to the Parliament of Azerbaijan has been banned. Turan was told by the spokesman for the Parliament, Akif Tavakkul oglu.
According to him, all persons belonging to the parliament must leave such phones and equipment, including Android, with the building security system.
"These restrictions apply to all, regardless of positions, ranging from the deputies to guests, including journalists. These limits are designed for safety," he said.
Note that during the autumn session, journalists recorded how MPs vote for each other instead of one or several MPs on smartphones.
These videos came out in the media and caused criticism, which in turn caused the last action of the MPs. -03B-
