Baku/06.04.23/Turan: An attempt to smuggle a batch of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan was stopped on April 5 at the official territory of the Goradiz border guard.
In particular, as a result of joint activities of the State Border Service and the State Customs Committee, 11 kg of drugs and 1,000 pieces of psychotropic pills "Metadon M-40" were revealed and seized.
This is stated in the message of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.
According to another SBS report, on the night of April 6, 4 foreigners, including 2 Nepalese citizens and 2 Sri Lankans, were detained while trying to illegally cross the border from Azerbaijan to Georgia. -06B-
