Last night in most parts of the country there was sleet, which will continue through December 6. As weather forecasters reported, on the Absheron peninsula rainfall amounted to 2-6 mm, in the mountains of the Greater Caucasus - 2-31 mm, in the Lesser Caucasus - 5-19 mm, and in the Central Lowlands – 1 mm.
The snow cover in the mountainous part of the Guba region was 20 cm, Khinalig - 13 cm, Dashkesan, Goygol and Altiaghaj - 10 cm, Gabala and Ismayilli - 8 cm, Lerik - 3 cm, and Shamakhi - 2 cm.
Today, on December 6, precipitation in the form of wet snow will continue in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula with a strong northerly wind.
In the regions of Azerbaijan the weather will be similar, with possible ice on the roads. -02D-
