Baku /29.10.19 / Turan: At 13:30 on Tuesday, an explosion occurred on the SOCAR exploration vessel. As a result, SOCAR employee Khabil Mammadov died. Three other employees of the company Azer Veliyev, Bahruz Pashayev and Beyukaga Khalilov were injured of varying severity, the SOCAR report said.
Victims were taken to Clinical Hospital No. 5.
According to the same source, the cause of the tragedy was explosives, which are used for seismic exploration. The incident occurred in shallow water near the village of Gurgyan. -02D-
