State agencies do not comment on the reasons of fire in the Heydar Aliyev Center
Due to the different versions in the media after the fire on July in the Heydar Aliyev Center, the state structures remain silent and refrain from making any comments.
Only yesterday the message was spread by the General Prosecutor Office on filing a lawsuit on the fact under the Article 225.2 of the Criminal Code (violation of fire safety regulations.) To investigate the cause of the fire an investigation interdepartmental group was created.
Turan failed to get the comments in the law enforcement agencies. Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of National Security and the Prosecutor's Office are silent.
The workers, who were at the Center during the fire, in an interview with reporters said that the cause of fire was short circuit in the network, but experts do not exclude the possibility of sabotage.

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads. Efforts to extinguish the fire are still ongoing.
