State Security Service exposed Internet swindler
Baku/31.05.22/Turan: The State Security Service of Azerbaijan reported about the exposure of a young man who offered money to those willing to intercept correspondence in WhatsApp.
The State Security Service reports that a resident of Baku Arif Askerov, born in 2000, opened a page Aztechnology in the social networking site where he offered to monitor the correspondence of citizens on WhatsApp for money.
In particular, he promised to provide a link to intercept correspondence of any person for a fee.
Nearly 400 people fell for this ad and transferred money to the bank card of Arif Askerov. However, they did not receive the promised service.
According to the SSB, Arif Askerov thus deceived 394 people and was prosecuted in a criminal case, it said. -02D-
