Baku Appeals Court today rejected the complaint of the leader of the "Muslim unity" Movement, the Shiite theologian Thale Bagirzade on the arrest for 4 months. In connection with the proceedings in the case of Bagirzadeh police took increased security measures around the court. Bagirzade was arrested during a special operation in Nardaran on November 26 with a group of his associates. He was charged under Articles 120 (murder), 214 (terrorism), 220 (rioting), 228 (illegal possession of firearms), 233 (violation of public order), 279 (creation of illegal armed groups), 281 (open calls against the state ), 283 (inciting religious hatred), 315 (resistance to authority with violence) and 278 (attempt to seize power) of the Criminal Code.-06D—
