The first working day in the New Year will be January 5
The press service of the Cabinet refuted the Internet reports on changes in days off due to holidays, the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and New Year. The press service stressed that as previously was reported non-working days will be December 31, and 1,2,3,4-January.
Since December 31 the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the world falls on a Saturday, and January 1 - New Year, the days off in accordance with the Labor Code are transferred to the 3 and 4 January. January 2 is also the day off on the occasion of the New Year. Thus, the first working day in the New Year will be 5 January. -06D--
