The Iranian Embassy does not answer questions about the fate of Farid Safarli
Baku/05.04.23/Turan: The Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan has not fulfilled its promise to clarify the fate of student Farid Safarli, who disappeared in Iran in early March. Earlier, the embassy promised Farid's mother to clarify the matter by April 4.
"Today is already April 5, but the embassy has not given me any information," the student's mother Dilara Aleskerova told Turan.
She recalled that on March 31 she met with the Deputy Ambassador of Iran, who made these promises.
In turn, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told the Turan news agency that the Iranian side also did not respond to the note in connection with Safarli.
Farid Safarli arrived in Tehran on February 20 from Germany, where he is studying. After March 4, communication with him was lost. ---03B06---
