The Ministry of Environment calls on citizens to use paper bags instead of cellophane
Baku / 30.11.18 / Turan: The Ministry of Environment calls on the population to abandon the use of plastic bags.
Plastic bags, called "penguin" and used almost in 99% of markets, are harmful to people's health, the environment, flora and fauna, was noted at the press-conference.
In this regard, the representative of the Ministry of Environment Irada Ibrahimova urged the population to abandon the use of plastic bags and return to the use of paper bags and shopping bags made from natural materials.
However, the representative of the Ministry of Environment did not explain where citizens should take paper bags, and what will happen to the mass production of plastic bags? How to refuse them if there is no legislative restriction on their production and use? Does the Ministry of Environment believe that the citizens are to blame that all shopping facilities are packing goods in cellophane? Should customers themselves make paper bags? -05B-
