The ceremony "Zyafyar gunyu" (Day of Victory) in the National Olympic Committee (NOC) on Thursday honored the winners of the European game. Congratulations took the champions - wrestlers Togrul Asgarov and Hetag Gazyumov, and taekwondo Ayhan Tagizade.
There was also a bronze medalist in freestyle wrestling Jabrail Hasanov.
The First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade congratulated the athletes. In honor of the winners performed a singer Natavan Habibi.
"Zyafyar gunyu" within the European games is held every day to meet with Azerbaijani winners.
For to day Azerbaijani team already won 23 medals, including 11 gold.
European Games are held 12-28 June, involving about 6,000 athletes from 50 countries of the world.-06D-
