The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against Safar Imanov, the former head of the department of the State Committee for family, women and children. The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said that the case was initiated by the Office to fight against corruption. The investigation found that in 2012, Safar Imanov received from Eynur Kerimov $170.000, promising to provide a high position for him. A lawsuit has been filed under the Article of fraud with a large scale damage and abuse of power. It should be noted that the scandal broke out on this issue long ago, but the police did not respond to reports of fraud of the former official.
