During today's action of Islamists in front of the Israeli Embassy on the occasion of Guds were detained 72 people, including four women, according to the deputy chairman of the Islamic Party of Azerbaijan (IPA) Heydarli Akif, who was also detained.
They were kept in police stations up to 17:00 in cramped premises where it was not possible to sit down.
By 17:00 they all released, but three people - acting the leader of the IPA Elchin Manafov, deputy Vugar Ibayev and believer named Haji Hasan, they were taken to court.
"Most likely they will be fined," suggested Akif Heydarli.
Meanwhile, at 18:00 rally to mark the Day Guds began in the village of Nardaran. According to Turan correspondent, it is attended by about 500 people.
The rally participants raised banners with slogans "Guds belongs to Palestine", "Death - Israel!", "Death - the Masons," “Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijan.”
Protesters are preparing to burn the flags of Israel, Armenia, the USA, and the UK, and will adopt anti-Western resolution. -06D--
