Thirty officials punished for abuses in assigning disability
Baku/21.06.21/Turan: Measures are being taken to combat illegalities, to ensure transparency and objectivity in assessing disability. The collected materials are presented to the relevant authorities for legal assessment, the message of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the country.
In relation to 11 employees of expert commissions who did not make objective decisions in assessing disability, punishment measures were taken. In order to investigate the facts of falsification of documents, documents on the disability of 266 persons were submitted to the General Prosecutor's Office for a legal assessment.
In connection with the illegal actions of the former chairs of the medical and social expert commission N5 and N7, the General Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General initiated criminal cases under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
Thus, the former chair of the medical and social expert commission N 5 Katib Mammadov and other persons were charged under Articles 308.1 (abuse of office), 311.3.3 (large-scale bribe-taking), 313 (official forgery) and 320 (falsification of documents) of the Criminal Code Azerbaijan.
Oruj Mammadov, who served as chairman of the medical and social expert commission No. 7, is charged with articles 311.2 (taking a bribe) and 312-1.1 (illegal influence on the decision of an official (trade in authority)) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. He was arrested by a court decision. -06D-
