This Year, Government to Send 421 Students Abroad
As part of the state program of youth education abroad, 421 citizens of Azerbaijan will be sent to foreign universities in the 2012/2013 school year. Thus, the number of Azerbaijani students using the program has reached 1,204, the press service of the Ministry of Education reported.
Currently, 825 Azerbaijan students study in 200 universities in 23 countries. Most of them learn to become doctors, engineers, economists, administrators, and ICT specialists.
Overall 322 people have already completed the training on the program. In total, 10,700 Azerbaijani students are trained overseas.
Overall 5,590 foreigners study at various levels of education - bachelor's, master's and doctoral - in Azerbaijan. -03D06-
