Baku/17.11.22/Turan: Three people were injured in an explosion in an apartment on the second floor of a high-rise apartment building in the "AAAF Park" complex in the city of Khyrdalan on the evening of November 16, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan reported.
The injured were taken to the hospital. Besides, 2 cars were damaged by the blast wave.
According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred as a result of a leak of household gas, according to the press release of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. -05B06-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
