Traffic police tightens rules for leaving Baku
Baku / 28.08.20 / Turan: The Main Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the need to suppress abuse by drivers during the quarantine period. This time, the Traffic Police intends not to let through the quarantine posts the violators even if they have a registration on the icaze.e-gov.az portal and a travel certificate.
The traffic police said that "workers in the spheres that do not function on Saturdays and Sundays will not be allowed through the posts, despite the availability of travel and registration on the icaze.e-gov.az portal."
The police explain their actions as abuse. So, on weekends, there are mass business trips to the regions of people living and working in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron region.
How the police will determine who is the offender, and who really goes on a business trip, is not said.
