Baku / 13.04.17 / Turan: On April 12, Azerbaijani border guards detained an Iranian citizen for violating the state border in the Astara region near the village of Alash. Border guards detained Gulamali Sadigi Gilande, born in 1969.
On 13th day, another Iranian, Ismail Barzigir, born in 1974, was also detained in the territory of the village of Kerimbeyli, Fuzuli region, and also tried to violate the border of Azerbaijan. On both facts, the State Border Service conducts operational and investigative measures. -02D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
