Weather forecasters warned of worsening weather on Sunday
Baku/15.09.23/Turan: Starting from noon on September 17 and until September 19, unstable weather is expected in Azerbaijan, the National Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Ecology reported.
The north-westerly wind is expected to increase to 15-20 m/s in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, and gusts up to 23-25 m/s. In some places, precipitation will be intense.
Rains of a torrential natureare expected in the regions of the country. There is a chance of snowfall in the highlands. The speed of the west wind in gusts will reach 25-30 m/s.
Floods and mudflows are expected on the rivers of the Greater and Lesser Caucasus. ----05C----
