Woman Tried to Smuggle 250 Grams of Gold Jewelry in Her Body
A citizen of Azerbaijan was seized 254.26 grams of gold of the 583/585 samples at the Baku Airport, according to the State Customs Committee. A woman flying from Istanbul to Baku was brought under control on the basis of operative information.
After passing through customs control, she was invited for a personal inspection. She was told that a doctor would be invited to inspect her body. After that, the woman admitted she had hidden gold jewelry not specified in the declaration.
She was seized 18 pendants, 22 rings, 17 pairs of earrings, 3 necklaces, 3 sets of earrings and rings, 4 sets of bracelets, earrings and rings, and 3 bracelets. -71D-
